This is an interesting movie. We here at Half A Giraffe have had our run-ins with Roland Emmerich in the past, but let’s not hold that against his newest project. Open minds all ’round 
2012 is somewhat remarkable in its unbashed non-intellectual approach to bombarding the audience with sludge. It’s clear from the get-go that our adventure won’t make any sense and that stupidity is the norm, but fear not!
